Due WED (04/04) before 11:59pm.INTRODUCTION: You will need at least TWO sources about COM to show that you are properly familiar with COM. (Nobody takes criticism well from an "outsider" who knows nothing about a family. But if a family-member, aka COM-student body-member, who knows COM's financial situation, history, and staff/faculty/board members, has a suggestion, it will be more favorably considered. JUSTIFICATION: You will need at least ONE source about COM that validates what the need at COM is all about. If you are going to propose a hot tub and bar for COM, you need to validate that there is actually a need for a hot tub and bar at COM. How? You could interview a nurse or school psychologist or counselor at the COM-Counseling and Disabilities department to say that students are too stressed out and need a good soak and a glass of wine to be more successful students. In addition, you will need at least ONE source outside of COM to compare and contrast between what COM is lacking and how that lack is indeed in urgent need of correcting. You could cite an outside source like another institution that does have a hot tub and bar and interview someone there (preferably an employee of the institution rather than just another student, although perhaps an alumni -former student- who has some kind of career might carry the most weight) who praises the benefits of having an educational institution provide a hot tub and bar. This means you will need at least TWO sources total for your justification section. FIVE SOLUTIONS: For EACH solution (even though each solution can take 1-2 paragraphs), you will need TWO sources. This means you will need at least TEN sources total to back up your five solutions. Now remember, you can always re-use your sources anywhere in your essay anytime. However, that one source you are using does not count as two sources, but still that one. This means that sometimes, your solution paragraphs may cite anywhere from two to four sources. However, each solution MUST be backed up by two distinct sources dedicated to backing that one solution.
CONCLUSION: Finish off your proposal by finally including one outside source that is up to your dramatic choosing. Remember, your introduction and your conclusion are your two essay sections where it's not so much about the academic rigorous structuring of your argument, but about the psychological energy to inspire your reader to get on board your ideas. Your conclusion is not just a dry and boring "goodbye" - how many people you remember who left with a dramatic exit versus the shrinking wallflowers to creep out the door unnoticed? You will need at least ONE source in your conclusion.

1. The reason why I picked this proposal is because working full time while going to school is fairly difficult and college becomes incredibly stressful. And this goes for anyone who is not just doing school alone. Majority of people who go to community college have other things on the side they are doing.
